
Brittany Sweat was born and raised in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. She has proudly served in the United States Army for 18 years, including 12 years on active duty and currently 6 years in the Army Reserve, specializing in logistics.
Brittany holds an Associate of Science in Human Services from New England College and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. She is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health at The George Washington University, with a focus on women, youth, and child health.
Her commitment to academic and professional excellence has earned her membership in Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leadership and Honors Organization, The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and The National Society of Leadership and Success.
In 2022, Brittany was accepted into a pre-doctoral program in Pediatric Neurology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She currently works as a travel Anesthesia Technician with UChicago Medicine, combining her passions for service, healthcare, and maternal-child health.
